One of the key principles to establishing Kosciuszko Wild Venison was to turn a problem into mutinous food. Right now, more than a million wild deer roam the border regions of southern New South Wales, posing a serious threat to native plants, animals, and delicate ecosystems.

But instead of seeing this as purely a problem, we see it as a chance to create a solution — one that benefits both the environment and local communities.

At the same time, this wild, free-range meat — high in protein, low in fat, and naturally hormone-free — becomes a valuable, sustainable food source for people who might never have the chance to hunt themselves.

We are working towards;

Restoring balance to the environment
Reducing waste by utilizing as much of the animal as possible and turning inedible waste into compost
Providing a healthy, local protein source without intensive farming
Supporting rural communities through jobs and economic opportunities.
